After a dynamite first quarter where Luke Kennard lit up Monroe for all 23 of his teams points, the 2015 guard continued his record breaking night scoring a career high 59 points. Kennard set a new school record earlier this season scoring 53 points (this is his third 50 point game this year) and last night broke his own record in front of both, Ohio State and Michigan. Among his 59 points, Luke was deadly from behind the arch converting a total of 9 three-pointers and efficient at the line where he had 20. Luke is without question one of the top junior’s in the country and a prime candidate for Mr. Basketball in Ohio. Congratulations to Luke, his family, and Franklin on the achievement. Stay tuned for more of Kennard and Franklin coming soon, from Scarberry Media.
